We are in Jinja, Uganda. This will be my home for the next 5 days. From here we will travel each day to the village of Kawete and CCLS-Uganda. Today we went on a small adventure. We went on an excursion on the Nile River up to Lake Victoria where the Nile begins. It was awesome. We saw lots of birds, Monitor Lizards, and Marmoset monkeys. We watched men fishing for Tilapia in the lake. They cast nets with weights on them and then pull them in. Perhaps I will have one for dinner. I will upload some of the photos. Tonight we are taking it easy. Tomorrow I will set up the clinic in one of the classrooms and start seeing the children!
